R.I.P. (Restroom In Peace)
the restroom finder

THE CLIENT

My roommate, Hyein Kim, asked me to make a restroom finder app.
This app was started just for fun, but everyone I’ve talked to loved the idea.

It’s the perfect thing to use when you’re… in a hurry.
Who knows? Someday this may be the restroom version of Yelp!

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge was to help users find the best restroom based on their location and level of urgency.

MAP FILTERS

The map filters help the users identify their situation. How urgent their need is, how much they care about privacy and if they want handicap accessibility or a baby-changing table.

MAP & LIST

Based on the user’s situation, it will show a selection of restrooms via map and list.

Once they choose a restroom, they can see directions to the restroom, as well as other users’ evaluations.

What do you think of the restroom you just used?
Let other users know.

Share the location
and a photo
and rate the restroom.

This app is for everyone in San Francisco. For foreign visitors, there is a language setting.
